Vintage Tommy Singer Sterling Silver Turquoise PEYOTE SQUASH BLOSSOM NECKLACE

For your consideration is this magnificent and very rare vintage pawn original Tommy Singer turquoise and coral chips inlay Peyote Bird squash blossom necklace, circa 1960s era.

This gorgeous necklace features ten blossoms and a large naja handcrafted of heavy gauge sterling silver in the Peyote bird motif. These were inlaid with turquoise and coral chips, utilizing an inlay technique that Tommy Singer was credited for inventing. The blossoms and naja were hand strung on two rows of sterling silver bench beads that tapers to a single strand.

The squash blossom birds measure approx 2\" long while the large naja is about 2 1/2\" x 2 1/2\". The necklace measures about 26\" end to end with the naja adding to the profile. Closes with hook eye clasp. Stamped with a T on back of naja, which was one of Tommy\'s earlier hallmarks from the 1960s period. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
