Presented for sale is this breathtaking hand painted Russian Lacquered Paper Mache BOX / Pill or trinket box. It is superb quality, oval shaped, black color high gloss base, decorated with Russian Princess doing needlepoint motif, and a heavenly dove. Box is comprised of two halves, joined with the brass hinge. Interior is oxblood red color. Piece is USSR Russian made. It is signed on the lower edge of the painting by two different artists (written in Cyrillic - see photos). Stunning piece in every way, shape color, and awesome quality. It is in good vintage condition, mint, no chips, no cracks, no repairs. Box is 3.875\" long, 2.125\" wide, and 1\" tall. Great addition to any paper mache, trinket box or Russian collection !
