The glass is white frosted does not look like any chips see pictures
I did test it and it works
The chrome ends do need to be re chromed they are a little rusty

The bulb is green and might have a loose filament inside you will have to replace it
I would check all wires on this neat light before you use it
it is only what is pictured
It is a little dirty was taken off basement shelf in a 110 year old farm house
I did not clean it
