This is a Pretty Interesting Lighter.
You squeeze the two buttons and the top opens which spins the flint wheel igniting the Wick.
I replaced the wick and the flint. Sometimes it sparks but more often it does not spark. Currently it is not sparking.
I have had varying test results with this. It always opens and closes easily without a flint. Sometimes, with a flint in, the top will only open halfway, sometime a brief spark. The top spring seem very tight so I think its briefly getting hung up on the new flint. The top is aligned almost perfectly. For the most part everything is tight, the snuffer part (the bell shaped thing that puts out the flame)is a bit jiggly but I believe it is normal.
Impressive to look at, it is unique and a rare design. Some scuffs from usage, a few more on the top.no major dents or scratches, a couple of diny dings below the front screws and 2 small perpendicular on the back that are very hard to see. What looks to be some markings from a pliers that are barely noticeable on the piece that holds the wick in.
No hallmarks that I can see, for the most part it seems like upper mid quality, not cheesy or light. There is a scuff on the bottom, I\'m not sure what it is from perhaps a marking from the previous owner - it looks to be there on purpose.
This is an Impressive lighter, nicer then my photos show or my description depicts.
This will be shipped empty of fuel.
