What a rare and unique, solid domed turquoise stone in this bracelet! The beautiful turquoise has been heavily researched and believed to be from the Royston Mine, also known as the “Royal Blue”, the \"Bunker Hill\" and the \"Oscar Wehrend\" mine. This location produced turquoise that had a mixture of blues and greens in the same formation 24 miles northwest of Tonopah, Nye County, Nevada.

According to the published American Indian Art Series, Royston Mine turquoise is considered high-grade and very hard material. Colors range from a light blue, intense blue or a dark sky blue. Also included are a number of shades of green and many times with green and blue together in one stone. The turquoise matrix includes different shades of brown as well.

This tested sterling silver bracelet weighs approximately 79+ grams. It is not signed and un-stamped as were most pawned antique and vintage pieces made by now well-known artisans of the past. The craftsmanship that went into the making of this beautiful piece is in heirloom condition and ready to wear.
