Rare 1950\'s Tom\'s Peanut 2 gal. side loader glass jar and aluminum lid,Tom\'s peanut jar and lid in great condition / clips that holds it to the lid is broken off, jar has no chips or cracks, Tom\'s peanut blue decals are fired on,very clear and clean, size is 10\" wide and 10\" tall and 7\"deep.

Tom\'s peanut blue side loaders came out in the late 1950\'s when Tom\'s came out with Sweet Sandwiches to go with their peanut butter sandwiches, there was just a few made, but was never used in stores or sold to Tom\'s Distr. at the time side loaders cost to much to make, Tom\'s used the round 2 gal. sandwiches jars and the small round 1 gal. jars in stores.

I worked for the Tom\'s Peanut Co. for 35+ years, until Lance Snacks bought Tom\'s out in 2005.
