Vintage Reed Barton Sterling Good Luck Whistle Pendant

Great for all the Irish leprechauns when out celebrating the Wearin\' O\' The Green for St. Patrick\'s Day or any lucky celebration. Large, shrill, working whistle is finely crafted in sterling silver in a four leaf clover bundle. Large 3 inch long dimensional front has a sterling bale, and a flat back imprinted Good Luck Whistle; a tiny four leaf clover; Reed & Barton; Sterling. Great for personal safety too! Hang it on a silver chain around your neck in case of need. This is in fine vintage condition and includes the original green protective pouch, box and romance card. There are faint scratches on the back consistent with use and polishing. I believe these came out in the 1970\'s, but am not positive. Even though not intended as Christmas Ornaments, these hard to find whistles are a popular choice for ornament collectors Xmas trees. As with all vintage silver, may require proper polishing upon receipt depending on your preferences.

Reed & Barton sold out to Lenox in June of 2015. As a result, the following series are no longer in production: Sterling Angel, Santa, Williamsburg and Pierced Cross as well as the Silverplate Cross and Snowflake. The Lunt label has been totally eliminated.
