Vintage Reuge 50 Note Swiss Music Box Works Movement
Marked Reuge, #25002, Swiss Movement, Made in Switzerland.

Tunes are Allegro and Aria, ....shown in a (very amateur, you'll have to turn up the speaker volume... sorry :)....short video at the following web address:

Condition:
Music box is in very nice working condition, winding key is included.
Minor losses to finish on corners; as shown.
One of several purchased from the estate of a gentleman who previously worked in one of the Amana, Iowa furniture shops, where presumably, they fashioned the boxes out of walnut and used the Reuge movements to complete the music boxes.
I do not think this was used, it is probably new old stock, judging from the condition.

Box measures 6 5/8" long X 5" wide X 2 5/8" tall.
