All sell !ITEM: You are offerding on an antique original 1936 spectacular pin-up calendar sample featuring a lovely pin up image printed on pebbled stock paper from the Thos. D. Murphy Calendar Company of Red Oak, Iowa. A vibrant lithograph of a winsome bathing beauty titled \"Smile You Can\'t Resist\" by Rolf Armstrong. This large calendar sample features a lone January 1936 date pad under the cardboard flap.Measures a complete 14 1/2\" x 21,\" with an image sight size of 10\" x 13 1/2.\"Forthose of you keeping track we acquired a storeroom full of these original archived Thomas D. Murphy Calendar Company inventory calendar prints (mostly their pin-up images) several years ago, the prints are fantastic and period old original sample lithographs that were kept in flat files in the Iowa warehouse and acquired directly from their vaults. The print quality is spectacular and the print quantities were minimal making this a remarkable art print.CONDITION: This pin-up calendar sample is in very good to fine condition with minor corner wear, and some scattered surface wear can be seen in the image when raking the light. These concerns would be greatly minimized when framed.
