Vintage Royal Doulton
Recumbent Hare HN2593

rare and genuine item, 7 3/8\" long Made by English porcelain factory Royal Doulton. It was introduced during the early 1940s and was produced until the mid to late 1950s when it was discontinued. The hare is recumbent with white front and back paws and white on the inside of the black tipped ears with a white mouth and faun chest. The body is brown and all colors are varied by monitor to monitor. It has the green Royal Doulton back stamp and the letters HN2593 and what appears as the letter X painted underneath. Approx. 3.25\" high, 7 3/8\" in length, 1 7/8\" width. There are no chips, crazing, repairs or cracks. Two dots on hips as seen in last picture is part of manufacture process.
