The Ship and Sea Gulls are Embossed as is the Pennant near the bottom which reads \"HMS Victory\"

The Victory was the Flagship of Lord HoratioNelson duringhis victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805

The embossed ship appears to be sailingout of the picture and toward you

Plate is 10 7/16 \" in diameter

There are various light scratches mostlyin one area of thethe rim which can be seen on close examination but no chips or cracks

This plate is part of the Royal Doulton \" Famous Ships \" Series Ware Pattern # D5957
