Vintage Royal Doulton DisplayPlate - Clearly marked on the underneath A lovely piece.
Made in England for the International Collectors Club, designed and signed (front and back) by Neil Faulkner
Features the famous R/D Top O\' the Hill HN 1834, sculpted by Leslie Harradine in 1937.
Her companion (in background) is Sweet April HN 2215 sculpted by Peggy Davies in 1965.
Even has verse from Longfellow which was used to decribe this figurine in 1938 on the back
Gorgeous hand painted colourful design surrounded by a gilt edge (fully complete).
Considering its age it is in excellent condition with no crazing, chips, cracks or restoration.
Colours remain vibrant for this hand painted item. The lambs are very cute.
Looking for a new home which I hope is in your collection. A most desirable piece ofbone china.
Standing 2 cm (.75 inches) high, 21 cm (8 1/4 inches) in diameter andweighing 350 grams.
