This is an antique and vintage royal satsuma 5\" egg. This listing is for the egg along with the wooden base (the wooden base adds additional height). This is a hand painted piece and is simply just beautiful in person, the photos does not do it justice. The painting is raised for a 3D effect. The porcelain egg itself is in great condition, there is however some paint worn off on one of the flowers on the side (please see pictures).
