A marvelous set of Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls intricately carved in a relief pattern of Madonna & Child and four saints. The craftsmanship and detail given to each piece is truly a work of art and has been lacquered to preserve its beauty for many years to come. A lovely religious collectable to display throughout the year.
This set is previously owned, however, they are in very good condition. There are only two things I could detect: (a) on the large doll there seems to be slight wear to the wood where it opens; and (b) a small spot where the lacquer bubbled.
