Made in FranceDupont lighter from the 1970\'s (I think). This was my grandmother\'s lighter, and she gave it to me many years ago. It is authentic, and I believe it is 1970\'s, I remember being a child and I always liked it - which is why she gave it to me when I was fairly young, and it just sat around in a drawer.
I love the pattern, and the gold is so vibrant too. Very high quality, very much luxury.
So that\'s about all I know about it to be honest. I do know that these lighters are luxury, my grandmother was very wealthy, and she had told me many times that it is gold. I don\'t know if it\'s gold plated or better. Also, all of the parts move, nothing seized, but I believe it needs a flint.Also, I believe that the screw on the base is not original, my grandmother told me that it came out and she couldn\'t find a replacement .... bearing in mind the internet was not around then, and she lived in sort of rural NSW.So I believe it\'s all perfect, but I don\'t know much about lighters sorry. I have taken as many photos as I could so you can see the condition. But to me it looks basically Very good condition.
Also, I have no idea what value this is. It could be worth thousands, I quickly googled them and there are many that are very similar for ridiculous prices.
