Vintage,footed, SCANGOTHIA hinged lid box, wooden on the inside.

On top of the lid itwrites: SCANGOTHIA – PAPER & BOARD – GOTHENBURG SWEEDEN. On the base thereis the manufacturer’s logo: AME METALL – ESKILSTUNA.

The brass partof the box shows not to have been used a lot. The wood on the inside of the boxis intact, as if it has never been used. It looks to be of cedar wood. The lidopens and closes perfectly. Not cleaned at all – very nice patina. For thedetails, please take a good look at the pictures.

Aftera search in the internet Scangothia was founded in 1947 and originally engagedin import and export.Today the Swedish company specializes in productsfor the Hotel-Restaurant-Cafe industry.
