hi there, this is a great treasure box for your rosary beads or communion. It is 2 3/4 inches wide, and 1/2 inch tall.Clasp is nice and tight. I don\'t know for sure if it is brass or gold or both and silver-plated, but I did use silver polish and it shined up nicely with that. It still needs some detail polishing.Thanks for looking and good luck! I will pack carefully and ship promptly.
