A really pretty and uncommon music box from the San Francisco Music Box Company, this acorn-shaped brass metal box is decorated in with cloisonne designs of acorns on leafy oak tree branches. The lid of the box is shaped and decorated to resemble the stem and cap of an acorn. The lid removes completely, leaving behind a pretty cup that is fully coated inside with rich burgundy glass enamel. The music box is underneath the lid, and it works - I just don\'t recognize the tune. It is signed near the base with cloisonne wires SFMB and a heart in a square <3
