This Vintage Sandwich Isles Jacket has a rich dark brown and black batik/tapa pattern.
Made in British Hong Kong.
RN 35566 100% Cotton.
While the outside of this jacket looks to be free of rips or tears, a large portion of the white colored areas have turned soiled and brown in color.
Luckily, the busy colors of the tapa print, helps to distract these flaws!
There is a partial lining on the inside of this jacket.
The lining has become greatly darkened and discolored due to age.
In the 9th and 10th photos, the jacket is turned inside out to show the discoloration.
There is small hole in the lining, shown in the 8th photo.
On the outside front, there is a front chest pocket, and 2 waisted pockets, each with a covered flap.
On the inside front of one the flapped pockets, written in pen, it reads, \"currie 49\", and on the inside front of the other pocket, it reads \"49\"??
There are two slitted pockets, hidden on the inside lining, as well!
There are 2 buttons closures down the center front, with two matching smaller buttons on each cuff!
THIS SANDWICH ISLES JACKET DOES NOT HAVE A TAG INDICATING THE SIZE OF THIS JACKET!
PLEASE PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO THE MEASUREMENTS:
Measuring from the front, from armpit to armpit, the measurement is about 21\" across.
From the front shoulder seam to the hemline, the measurement is about 33 1/2\" in length.
From the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve, the measurement is 28\" in length.
Across the top back of this jacket, the measurement is about 18\" across.
Previously owned, this Vintage Sandwich Isles Jacket is in good overall condition, but does show wear due to age.
The starting price reflects this wear.
