SILVERED TIN RELIC Theca Reliquary

From the 1950’s, offered is this scarce relic theca made of silvered tin and housing a relic of St. Maria Bertilla as identified with paper label. Wax seal and threads are intact. This relic was issued for the beatification of S. Maria Bertilla in 1952. This reliquary has an approx. diameter of 1 3/8\" and is in very good used condition. St. Maria Bertilla was an Italian nun who worked with sick children and victims of air raids of World War I. On her tomb there is a plaque on which is engraved “a chosen soul of heroic goodness”. She was canonized in 1961 by Pope John XXIII. As per ’s policy, this reliquary does not contain human remains but only objects of devotions.Relic is free only the theca is on sale.
