SET OF 10 CHARLES EAMESSIDE SHELLCHAIR SEATS!!! An ICON of theMID-CENTURYMODERN MOVEMENT!!! Vintage, circa early 1960s, Mid-Century Modern, Charles Eames for Herman Miller, set of ten (10) molded fiberglassside shell chair seats.COLOR:Mustard Yellow. Like a dark yellow. MARKED ON UNDERSIDE WITH HERMAN MILLER PAPER LABELS, NAME, and CYPHER: \"HERMAN MILLER\" (see image). Paper labels are torn, faded, dirty, with many labels missing. (see image). SHOCK MOUNT CONFIGURATION:nine are Wide mount. One is narrow mount. CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: Shells arein decent condition, showing wear from age and use, in the form of --dirt, marks,and rubs and scratches. One seat has a small crack to the edge. And one seat back has been rubbed to the point where it is a little out of symmetry -- not terrible, but noticeable upon CLOSE scrutiny. Shell color varies within the lot, as the seats may have been sourced from different lots. PLEASE NOTE: MANY OF THE BLACK MARKS THAT ARE VISIBLE ON THE SURFACE OF THE SEAT, ARE STACKING MARKS FROM THE SHOCK MOUNTS, AND WILL COME OUT WITH A SOLVENT AND SOME ELBOW GREASE.

Shells are a bit dirty and have not been cleaned. I have not tried to clean marks. There is one fairly deep scratch, which it have pictured (see images). Shells will improve with a cleaning, and are great candidates for refinishing. (About an 8+ on a scale of 0-10.) INSTRUCTIONS: Please try to email early with questions. Thank you.
