Plugged in, it does run.
There\'s what looks like an alarm \'hand\', but can\'t figure out how it works. Didn\'t want to pull the back stick (to set the time) too hard. Unsure if that sets the alarm time.
But there\'s no button or such to turn alarm on or off.
Know it was produced sometime between 1930 and 1949
There\'s a number on the bottom
hard to make out but think it reads - R-1655 3 (three is a slightly smaller font size than the rest)
Piece has some weight - hence the shipping charges.
