Welcome, collectors of vintage fountain pens and antique writing instruments! This ad is one of many I will be posting in the coming weeks to liquidate a collection of vintage Art Deco-era fountain pens, bullet pencils and other writing instruments. This lot is a family collection, some of which were found in old sock drawers, and others neatly bundled into coffee cans. Each is being listed and sold in the condition it was found, which I shall attempt to describe as best I possibly can, not being an expert in the field. In this lot, we have a very elegant glossy black-with-gold-trimmed Mont Blanc Meisterstuck. The center band around the lower cap is signed by the manufacturer, neatly bordered by two black enameled rings. The cap easily separated from the lower barrel (with an audible pop) revealing the ball point in its conical upper housing. This is a beautifully elegant pen, and from less than a foot or so away appears in very nice original condition. When examined under a jewelers loupe, it does have two or maybe three hairline scratches which are barely surface-deep, at the lower end and just to the side and down from the clasp; in other words - it was used, yet carefully. It is being sold exactly as pictured, having not been tested, nor restored or refilled. Successful high buyer to please pay via PayPal within three days of sales end.
