Vintage Signed Navajo Y & R Charley Belt Buckle

This is a wonderful belt buckle. Two large oval turquoisecabochons with great color center between traditional style Navajo stems, swirls, leaves, and spheres. Around the entire perimeter is petipoint teardrops with sphere tips, against a dark oxidized back. Braid and stamp tooling makes the final border. The quality of work into this piece really makes it stand out. Signed by silversmith couple Y & R Charley.

In absolutely wonderful vintage condition.

This buckle weighs 73.5 grams. It is a large buckle, it measures 3.75" across and is 2.5" wide. The large turquoise cabochons in the center measure 7/8" long, measured by including their settings, so the actual stones are just under. Made to fit a 1.5" belt.
