Vintage Victorian 1865 Henry Williamson Ltd, Trade Mark ACME Silver Soup Spoon
In excellent condition.
Stamped with the Trade Mark ACME in gothic print, 18 DWTS that represents the pennyweight of Silver in the spoon 27.9 grams of silver. Superior quality silver of the 19th Century.
Approx length 17cm - Width 6cm.
There are not many Companies that used the trade ACME in gothic print on their Silver production of cutlery. Henry Williamson Ltd of London was active from the late 19th Century from 1865 before converting the business name to H, Williamson in 1892, then absorbing Errington watch Company in 1895, it is documented that ACME was their Trade mark for the production of Silver cutlery, unfortunately the business went into liquidation during 1898.
Unable to find any details after that time of further business activity or trade under a different name.
