Vintage Silver Turquoise Inlaid Squash Blossom Necklace. This piece is not marked which many of the older pieces of Indian jewelry are not marked. It is sterling or very close to it as many Native American Artisans used Sterling in jewelry making. I believe this is Zuni workmanship with the age, the inlaid work and the weight of the necklace. The necklace is one strand of beads then goes into two strands where the blossoms start. I did a light silver cloth polishing but I love patina and wanted to leave some of that on the necklace. I believe that the inlaid is turquoise, mother of pearl, coral and onyx. The naja is about 1 3/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches. The blossoms are about 1 1/4 inches long. From clasp to clasp the necklace is about 22 1/2 inches long and weighs about 62 grams. This is a comfortable fitting squash blossom. The necklace is petite and could also be considered a child\'s necklace. Please contact with any questions.
