Up for offer is a vintage Theftproof Auto Lock by Simplex. This is NOS in the original box with instructions and hardware.

When in the locked position the inside hole measures approximately 1 3/4\" across in diameter.

Stamped on the brass tag is: SIMPLEX CORPORATION CHICAGO TRADE MARK THEFTPROOF AUTO LOCK PAT. AUG. 17, 1909 OTHERS PENDING UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES INSPECTED CLASS B NO B 725721.

This comes with instructions for how to attach to several different cars including: Dodge, Franklin, Overland, and Maxwell.

You are supposed to measure the diameter of your steering wheel column to determine if this will fit.

Application: These came in different sizes, so measure your steering wheel post to make sure this will work for you. Again, the inside diameter of this piece is approximately 1 3/4\" across. Please do your own research.

Condition: This is in very good NOS condition. As you can see the original box shows wear due to age, but the lock itself is in very good condition. It looks to be nickel plated brass, so is nice and solid. There are a few small dings here and there, but overall the surface is very smooth. I don\'t see any cracks or breaks. The original key turns in the lock with ease, and locks everything in place beautifully. The original tag and instructions are included, as are a few pieces of hardware that you can see in the pictures.
