On sale we have a vintage Singer sewing machine catalogue 3-110 with it\'s pedal and original carrying case. Research tells me this is the Featherweight Model 221. The number on the base \"AH 645699\" tells us this was made between 1947 and 1948. As you can see, it is working perfectly. The light goes on and I made (for me) an amazingly straight line of stitching. The case includes a top insert fitted for threads and extra bobbins. This measures (in the case) 13\" X 11\" X 8\" and weighs 18 pounds 1.5 ounces.
This is in excellent vintage condition. I can see that it has had some restoration, the sticker for \"Empire Vacuum & Sewing Center\" is newer, but the business is no longer in town. The \"belt\" around the wheel is newer and clearly printed \"Singer 194144\". I also believe the cord on the pedal is newer. The machine has some wear on the paint, especially the edges. The pedal is rusty around the base. The case is worn, both inside and out, and the cloth cover is coming off at the corners. Please view my photographs for a full description.
