This is a vintage Singer Featherweight sewing machine. I know very little about sewing machines. This unit came to me at an estate sale along with a bunch of vintage car parts. The machine is in very good condition over all. The serial number is AF756485. From what I have gathered, the serial number shows this machine was built in early 1941. How cool!

This machine is in very good original condition as shown. The finish is quite nice with a very good shine and no significant chips or damage. There is some light wear to one area of the gold inlay from use as shown. All parts seem to move freely and smoothly as designed. The foot switch is in good condition and works well. The main power wire has been taped over at some point and still works well. I imagine the tape was applied to cover cracking insulation. The case is also included as shown. The case is nice with light wear as shown. The latches latch and unlatch well. This is simply a nice vintage Singer Featherweight sewing machine.

This machine has been tested and seems to work well. The machine jumps into action when the foot pedal is pressed and seems to run at a good pace. The lamp also works.
