Vintage Small Oak Finish 8 Day Vienna Style Striking German Wall Clock

This is a very lovely Light Oak German Wall Clock in the Vienna Style. It strikes on the half hour andthe number of hours on the hour. The wooden case has alightoak finish withtypical Germanic lines with simple carved detailing and brass spandrels. This clock is of a size that would fit comfortably into any home.

It has an FHS German brass movement, that has been made toa very high standard. The clock has a good sounding gong.

The clock and the strike is working and sound wonderful, it will be tested and, where necessary, cleaned and oiled before dispatch.The case is in very good condition, please see the photographs. The door and hinges are sound. The door is glazedit\'s full lengththrough which the sedate circular pendulum and dial can be seen. The case also has long glazed side windows.

The brass dial has a white chapter ring and centre in very good condition and very clear numerals,fitting snugly into the glassed window in the top of the door, please see the photographs.Overall this is a fine timepiece that can only appreciate with age.

As with all pendulum clocks, this clock will need putting \'on beat\' when placed in situ the instructions of which are supplied with every clock,.

The clock is approximately 490mm high by 300mm wide and 140mm deep.
