Vintage snow globe for sale.

This snow globe features a girl(?) in a pink snow suit on a sled.

Glass: older molded glass with vertical and (top) circular seams.

Base: black fired ceramic. Underneath stamped with \"Atlas Crystal Works\", \"Covington Tenn.\", and \"US Patents Pending\".

Height: about 4 inches.

Age: dates back to the 1940\'s or 50\'s.

Imperfections: none noted. It is a very nice restored snow globe.

History: Atlas Crystal snow globes were manufactured in Trenton NJ and Covington TN before and during WW2. The company had an allowance from the government to use metal (aluminum inside the base) because of their (predominantly) patriotic themes.

Note: I restore these snow globes as a hobby because I think that they are beautiful, and wish to preserve them. I generally only restore the truly miserable ones, and try to preserve the snow and all of the original parts as much as possible. Last picture is a \"before\" picture. This was a \"dry\" globe.

Along those same lines, I try to pack and ship as green as possible as well, and save and use recycled material/popcorn/bubble wrap where possible.
