VINTAGE STERLING SILVER ROUND TRAY PLATE BY PREISNER CO 210 GRAMS
The featured item represents a sterling silver round plate that measures approximately 9 3/4\" in diameter. Not sure about its exact purpose but possibly the tray can be used for serving bread. The piece weights about 7/4 ounces or 210 grams on postal scale so the actual weight can be slightly different.
The plate has a simple and elegant design with gadroon pattern on the rim. The underside is marked with \"Preisner Sterling 36\". Preisner Silver Companyof Wallingford, CT wasproducing hollowwarebetween 1935 - 1988.
The item comes in well-preserved condition for its age.Small patina and tarnishing that I\'d rather not clean and leave that pleasure to the next owner. Also some normal vintage scratches and small dings that most likely a good polishing and buffing can take care of. No big dents or other major surface damages.
Thefeatured solid silver tray or place will make a gorgeous addition to any collection. It will be a lovely table display for any vintage or antique room!
