Vintage Souvenir Israel Powder Compact 12 Tribes Chrome and Vinyl 50\'s Judaica:

Offered for purchase is a vintage compact with metal finish depicting the 12 tribes of Israel of Israel
The closure depicts a Menorah and is marked Israel and the 12 tribes symbols are embossed on what appears to be chrome around the words “Souvenir from Israel” on top.
The back and zippered closure are turquoise coloured. The inside of the compact reveals a powder cake, barely touched, a mirror and a powder puff marked Max Factor.
The item is in very good condition, the embossing is still crisp, only the word souvenir has a little wear which has softened part of the word over time as well as a some slight dents. Some of the gold foil on the hinge at the back has rubbed off and there is a bit of chrome wear to the base metal as you will see in the pictures. The mirror is intact and zipper strong. Expect wear commensurate with age.
The item dates to circa 1950’s.
