A gold tone with red, blue and white with stars and stripes enamel Religio Mores Cultura pin/medal, showing scratches, wear and discolor. Of unknown age. NOTE: there is significant verdigris and wear to this item on front and rear, but the pin closure mechanism works.
Based upon internet research, my best guess is that this is an image of St. John the Baptist de la Salle- the motto is that of De La Salle University in the Philippines, and the man is sainted with a halo and wears what could be considered academic robes (John de la Salle was a French teacher and is the Catholic patron saint of teachers).
