Comes from a Non smoking home.Very Rare Opportunity to own a Gorgeous Silver Ash Blonde Barbie. I have had this doll for years now and is one of my most prized Barbie dolls. I purchased her from original owner, so I am the second owner. She has been kept in my glass enclosed display case to keep her as safe as possible. My Barbie room is air conditioned and there are no windows that allow any light in to keep all my dolls from fading. Only for sale due to a personal emergency. These Standard Barbie dolls with the Silver Ash Blonde Hair do not become available that often. The last one I saw available lasted only a few hours and it was sold. So grab her while you can, I really do not want to have to sell her but have to. 1967 Standard Barbie Doll stock no 1190 is Near Mint in Original Box. Barbie is the very rare hard to find silver ash Blonde Hair color. Hair is so shiny pretty it glistens. Color is a beautiful silver ash blonde that is very pale so it has a platinum silver look to it. I show it in natural outdoor light on my back deck and than inside, this way you can see the silver tone and than how light blonde it is in natural outdoor light. The hair is still in the original hair set with original rubber band and pink ribbon, it has never been taken down. The bow came undone but I never tried to retie it in fear of breaking the original rubber band. It has the same uneven layer of the twist n turn style barbie hair in back. Hair is not cut and there are no missing plugs. The two side pieces of hair that are pulled up on the sides and tied on top the right side is pushed up some so it shows a little of her scalp but I carefully pushed it back to look and there are no missing plugs it is just a little out of place. There is a wave to the back of her hair too from when she was stored in the original box for so long. Face is Gorgeous High Color all original make up none missing. She still has nice pink blush on her cheeks too. She has no earring holes. No green ear. Only flaw to face is the tip of her nose has paled a little and one very small pale dot under her left eye. The rest of her head is perfect original skin tone. She has no neck splits. Head nice and secure. Her skin tone from head to toe is very nice. Her arms and legs are nice and tight. They hold perfect pose. The is the standard Barbie which does not have the twist waist. She has straight legs that do not bend. She has 100% of her original nail polish that has faded to a light pink. 100% of her original toe nail polish still nice and bright coral. The only flaws I can find to her body are a tiny faint scratch mark on the upper left leg toward the middle and another scratch mark lower left outer calf. The bottom of her left foot has a nick in the center. That is all I could find wrong with her body, if you want to call them flaws, you really have to hunt with a magnifying glass and tilt her under light to see them. Her Bottom is marked Midge TM c1962 Barbie R 1958 By Mattel Inc Patented The bottom of her right foot under her toes is marked Japan. She comes wearing her original two piece swimsuit. Hot Pink color is nice and bright not faded at all. Material has no flaws and looks and feels new. The top and bottom both have perfect elastic not stretched. I have kept her in this swimsuit the whole time I have owned her, so I would not stretch it but taking it on and off. This was the first time I took it off since I got her for the photos. There looks to be a tiny nick in one of the edges of the white flower petals. It may just come like this, I could only see this little edge under the zoom lens for the photo. It is still nice and secure too. Inside the bikini bottoms I show there is a perfect black and white Barbie tag inside. Her Original Clear X Stand is included and looks great, no cracks just normal age wear scratches. The stand is marked c 1966 Mattel inc Japan. Her Booklet is near perfect. Shows Barbie inside with her stock no. The original wrist tag was missing so I added in a reproduction wrist tag that is the same hot pink color. The only difference from the look of the reproduction wrist tag is it says genuine Barbie on both side where as the original says genuine barbie on one side and made in japan on the back. It has small tear on the wrist band part from removing it off the repro doll I took it from. The box is Nice. There are no splits on the lid or the bottom. It is very clean. I replaced the liner since it was missing when I got her. There are a couple surface paper scraped on the back of the bottom. The lid of the box has color loss wear around the edges. The original 2.39 Price stamp is on the front of the lid on her face. Under it is some surface paper loss and on the stomach area there is some purple mark the same as the price stamp mark same purple looking stamp ink. The end of the box is marked New Barbie Teen Age Fashion Model with stand. It is dated 1966 Mattel inc japan and has the Ash Blonde Sticker to show the hair color. Stock no 1190. Inside the lid has the inspection stamp.
