Vintage Brass Marine Compass by Stanley of London 3\" 475gm Nautical Sailing
Solid Brass Pocket Compass, crafted with precision, for practical surveying or nautical use or simply as a desk top display item, folding sight at compass point North, hinged at point South with sight line, with inside of lid being mirrored. Dual bubble levels assist in levelling in order to orient magnetic north with greater accuracy. Stanley London is famous for manufacturing a wide range of very high quality navigation and viewing instruments. Likely to be from late 20th century the brass is tarnished with some light scuffs and the mirror has some silvering and marks, the round faced bubble has some white scale marks inside but the bubble is still moving - this is a lovely heavy piece - they are expensive to buy new - don\'t miss it
