This Bedside or Desk Top Clock measuresapproximately 4 inches or 102 mm across the width of its body from side to side by just over 1 1/2 inches or 40 mm across its depth from the clock face to the stand on the back when it is folded flat, the clock stands a fraction over 4 5/8 inches or 118 mm tall and the clock face is 2 3/8 inches or 60 mm across the width or diameter of its silver bezel.

The front of the desk clock is made from a sterling silver that has a delightful antique style raised relief and engraved scroll, floral and foliate decoration and it has dark plum colour velvet lined removable back panel that has a hinged easel like stand, the clock has a fully working quartz movement that has a white face with black Roman numerals and black hands under a curved or slightly domed glass cover and the clock has Notbeen engraved witha previous owners initials or family monogram all as photographed below, the silver front panel has been impressed with a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks that readas follows,

KFLd - Lion Passant- Leopard Head - stylized Q

KFLd is the London silversmith or makers mark of Keyford Frames Ltd, the Lion Passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterlingsilver, the Leopard Head is the mark of the London assay office and the stylized letter Q isthe date letter for 1990.

Thecondition isused and Excellent for its age.

The clock is in Full Working Order and it keeps perfect time.

The clock hasNo Large Dents, No Splits, No Cracks, No Holesand No Repairs that I can find, the clock stands straight, the definition and decoration are very crisp, the back panel opens with ease so that the time or battery can be changed and the hinged stand is working perfectly, the silverhallmark is still clearly legible although as the clock is used it does have some small shallow dents around the bezel on its silver frame and the velvet lining is showing signs of wear on the back, it has some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use along with the patina of age that is to be expectedanda gentle clean now and then would not go amiss.PersonallyI think that this bedside or desk top clock can still be used today and that it wouldmake a superb addition toany collection, I also think thatit has a delightful antique look about it considering its age.
