The History

This beautiful piece was made by a very talented Native American silversmith. It features hand crafted silversmith work throughout.

Mother of Pearl is a beautiful type of Mollusk shell lining that is used in jewelry. It has been prized for thousands of years for its Iridescent beauty and they way it lights up jewelry.

Navajo Indian silversmiths, working from 1870 to 1900, learned the stamping of Indian ornaments from Mexican leather workers, rather than from the silversmiths who had taught them. Stampings are usually hand hammered using a handcrafted stamp and include traditional Native American symbols.

The ring is signed by the maker Carma Harvey.

The Piece

The ring features two beautiful cabochon cut and polishedpieces of Mother of Pearl. The Mother of Pearl is a beautiful light pink hue with a gorgeous iridescent hue.

The ring is made from solid Sterling Silver and is completely handmade. It features traditional Navajo Nation patterns including hand stamped patterns on the band and accents across the top of the ring. The ring is a beautiful bypass style ring.

The top of the ring measures north to south 3/4\".
