The red beads test as quartz and hold a large sterling pendant that\'s decorated with an Ethnic design.

The work is hand created - the chasing on the pendant is beautiful. The agate? stone is an open

circle with sterling silver center. The back of the piece is signed with a maker\'s mark and \'925\' for

sterling silver. The pendant does not come off the necklace. It has been identified as a piece from

Niger, Africa.
