Here is a gorgeous Shell Cameo, showing the finely carved portrait of Goddess Aphrodite with a bird on her shoulder.

The cameo itself is ca 1940\'s, the silver setting is more recent and not original to the piece.

In very good condition.

There are some faint stress lines visible around the edges when held against the light.

Metal: Unmarked Sterling Silver. Tested.

Size of the Pendant INCLUDING the bail: 53.5mm (2.1\" Inches) high x31mm (1.22\" Inches) wide.

Size of the Cameo: 40.5mm (1.6\") x 31mm (1.22\" Inches) wide.
