Nice example of Navajo wearable art! Made my the artist Spencer, a bright blue cabochon of turquoise with a small amount of matrix and a smaller cab of coral are scallop bezel set into sterling silver. Applied to the stamped medallion are also one feather and three beads (sometimes referred to as a leaf and raindrops). Hand tooled and stamped along all edges. Signed on the reverse Sterling and Spencer. The tip ends resemble traditional bench beads and measure 2 inches long. Marked with undulating hash marks. Small dent to each tip but hardly noticeable when worn. Nice old bolo, dated to the 1970\'s.
