Up for sale is a vintage all sterling silver etrog box made in Israel. This is a beautiful unusual upright etgog box. It is approximately 7 1/2\" high and 3 3/4\" in diameter. The weight is 246.5 grams.The box is used on a Jewish Holiday of Sukkot for keeping a citrus fruit. This box is crowned with a Hebrew inscription, which sounds like pri etz hadar ve kapot tmarim. It describes the use of the box. The body of the etrog box is oxidized, and the inscription, applied leafs and base are polished. The bottom is marked Made in Israel, STERLING. The box stays upright without wobbling, but it is well used over the years and has nicks and small dents. Great useful collectible. We guarantee it as described. Good luck with your offerding.
