Goldtone with a decorative engine turned design on the lid with a vacant roudn cartouche in the centre. Inside the lid is a good framed bevel edged mirror with orginal Stratton sticker still attached. The inner lid which has the In Hand logo in the centre works perfectly when the compact is opened. The compact retains its original powder puff and sifter. The music box on the compact works but I have no idea what song it is. The compact is in good condition with only light age/storage marks as you would expect although it would benefit from a polish.
