Vintage Survivor 1959 Seeburg 222 Stereo Jukebox Juke Box Coin Op 45 Record

you been looking for that survivor quality 1959 Seeburg 222 jukebox? This is a nice original survivor that is from a Midwest family. This machine plays 160 45 RPM selections, and holds 80 records. The Seeburgs may be one of the most reliable jukeboxes due to Seeburg's Tormat selector. Please scroll down and enjoy the 70+ photos. If you cannot view all the photos, please click here.

We are excited to have a number of rare soda, jukebox, pinball and mechanical arcade machines and rare signs at sale, just in time for the Chicagoland Antique Advertising, Slot-Machine & Jukebox Show where delivery is cabinet keys are included except for the coin door lock which are available from several sources. Mechanically, it selected a record but will need the clutch lubed and cleaned which is common on all Seeburgs from sitting unused. We also noticed the amp should be rebuilt as the output tubes are glowing which tells us the coupleing caps are getting old.

Cosmetically, there are two small dings across the front lower chrome, and the dome frame has some mars, probably from glass replacement some time in its life. Also note the sides are original (rare) but showing their age. The coin instruction glasses should be replaced and the box should be cleaned. We wouldn't do much else aside from a mechanical reconditioning. The casters roll well, and the box is 100% complete with coin.

The patina is superb! The photos do a great job documenting the condition. We could not find any reproduction parts on this box. Note the phenomenal shape of the original chrome, trim, paint and glass.

This example would make a great addition to anyone’s rec room, bar room, collection, media room, or arcade. Best of all, there is . We will let the market determine the value on this RARE piece. Best of luck in the sale.

Additional sale Details

Because of it’s age and the above, it is sold strictly as-is-as shown. That being said, please see my response and offer with confidence. If you have not owned a jukebox before, these are not CD players, and being 50 years old can be temperamental and are not meant for continuous use all day long. These are meant for occasional use and not for continuous or bar usage.

In addition, there are scrapes and scuffs on the box as you can see in the photos. The good news is that they reproduce most of the jukebox in the event of a problem, and there are many people that repair them. The most likely time of trouble is when they are moved.
