Vintage Syrian Jewish Wooden Inlay Plate w/ Mother of Pearl & Star of David - These wooden plates have a very intricate design that includes a Star of David in the center of plates with smaller Stars of David making up that star and more around the outer part of the circle. The mother of pearl and wood inlay is work that Syrians specialized in and if a Syrian was Jewish, he would include the Star of David in his design. They were most likely made prior to the 1950\'s as most of the Jewish community in Syria left to go to Israel or the US before that time. Would be a beautiful vintage touch on a Seder table. This came from a Woodstock, Ga estate. The lady had them proudly hung in her house(they have hooks in the back).
