Platter measures 17\" long and 13\" wide, and is designed for a large serving dish. The pattern named on back is Wild Chrysanthemum and the maker\'s mark, best I can read it, says T. Furnival & Sons England. My research did not yield this particular pattern, but I did learn that this firm was well known for using transfer patterns onto ceramic dishes around 1851 (established) and following in England. I photographed the other numbers and marks, some indeterminate, and also what seemed to me to be flaws. The edge gilding is worn off in spots, as it would be with age and use. There are no chips or cracks. Do your own research, ask for more photos if needed, as I am not very knowledgeable in this field. I just made a lucky vintage find. Make offer if interested.
