This is a magnificent Pair of Vintage Early 20th century Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Matching Salt & Pepper Shakers. Both the salt and pepper grinder are wood~lined. The grinder support is marked Made in Italy as well as \'Garantito Tre Spade\' on the grinder. It has a complete metal grinding mechanism, not plastic.

The pair is in Good to Great Estate Condition with very slight surface tarnish. Both have been used in the past and would be considered estate pieces. The salt~shaker has some damage to the top. There is one dent to the top. The sides and bottom of the salt~shaker are in great condition. There are some dots on the surface, I do not know if this is tarnish or some pitting. The bottom is marked \"Sterling Tiffany and Co\". Perhaps the dent in the lid can be repaired by a silversmith. They felt bag for the salt~shaker has a tear along the stitching edge.

The pepper grinder us in great condition. There are no known major dents. The side panels and base are in great condition. The bottom is marked \"Sterling\" on one edge and \"Tiffany & Co\" on the opposite edge. The top knob removes the lid to supply the grinder with fresh peppercorns. The knob also determines the grind of the pepper in relation to how tight the knob is placed. There are also a few dots on the surface.

Please look at the attached pictures as they are an integral part of the description. The two Tiffany bags are included in this sale. There is tarnish on the bags. I did not wash the bags to remove any of the tarnish preventative that is in the material. These bags can be used to polish the Sterling as you can see that has been done in the past.

The salt measures 2 5/16\" in height, the base measures 1 5/8\" in diameter\' and the top measures 1 3/8\" in diameter.

The pepper grinder has the same dimensions with an additional approximate 3/8\" height for the knob.
