Vintage Tin Battery Powered Hot Rod By Alps Japan
Vintage piece is in good vintage condition showing normal signs of age and play as shown - but overall good!
Piece has been tested and is technically working but I\'m not sure it\'s 100%
Engine lights up and piece alternates between shaking and moving its wheels as it should - but only one wheel turns so it doesn\'t move very well
I never saw smoke from the radiator but it may need fluid to make it smoke
If you push the rear wheels up a bit - the piece starts up even when the switch is off - not sure if it\'s supposed to do that
Also - the front suspension looks as if it\'s missing the tie rod so front wheels can be turned independently.
The battery compartment is clean, but the negative terminal end is loose and has a wooden shim in place to help it stay in place and make contact with the battery as shown
Wheels show a bit of patina as seen
I\'m nitpicking it pretty good but it\'s still a really cool piece
