Description: Up for sale today, a beautiful vintage sterling silver bowl or bon-bon dish by Towle Sterling - in the sweet pattern Silver Flutes introduced by Towle in 1941. This bowl is numbered on the bottom 48522. No monogram present. There is light scratching that hopefully would buff out with a good polishing and some light age-related tarnish. No dents. Nice and weighty at 6.290 troy ounces on our own small home jewelry scale. Measuring about 7 1/4\" across with a straight tape measure. Please see all photographs. Hallmarks: The item is hallmarked as follows: TOWLE STERLING, Towle Hallmark, and 48522. Of note is the fact that there is very faint black stamp mark on center bottom of bowl that reads: Not only for candies but for Jellies, Nuts, Raisins, Etc

Measurements: Approximately 7 1/4\" in length x 1 1/2\" tall

Condition: Pre-owned vintage Towle Sterling Silver Bowl / Bon Bon Dish / Candy Dish is in very good used condition with some light scratches or signs of use that hopefully would buff out with a good polish. Some age-related tarnish is present. No dents. No monogram. As-Is Please see all photographs. Please advise if you would like more photographs.

Shipping: We can ship this in the US for $8.95 Priority Mail. We will pay for insurance and signature confirmation when necessary as well as tracking information in the United States through the USPS. Because the USPS charges different rates depending on where you live away from our zip code of 11971, the cost to ship to California for example is astronomical and we may need to ship your parcel by PARCEL POST but rest assured that your package will be insured and contain delivery confirmation. We ship PRIORITY MAIL most of the time, but in some cases, it is not feasible to ship as such and we will notify you by email once we find out about your shipping address. Also at times, for heavier pieces or china, we find it much more feasible to ship UPS, and if that is okay with you, your parcel could be shipped that way. Thank you.

We will reimburse you any amount over $1.00 if the shipping is less than we quote. We need to include delivery confirmation because we have sent packages/parcels that some people have said have not received and since we sometimes sell for other people and have to pay them, we need to have proof of mailing.
