Fromin-laws’ estate; excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing. There is some fading along rim (looks likewater stain) over Airport, and worn edge over Olvera Street.
ABOUTTREASURE CRAFT: founded in Gardena, CA, in 1945 by Alfred A. Levin shortlyafter his discharge from the US Navy. Hebegan by selling items manufactured by local California potters. By the early 1950s Treasure Craft wasmanufacturing its own ceramics and had expanded to several small locations insouthern California. In November 1988,Treasure Craft was acquired by the Pfaltzgraff Company of York, PA. Pfaltzgraff has been in business since 1811and is the largest and oldest manufacturer of casual dinner pieces in America.
TreasureCraft ceased manufacturing in Los Angeles in 1995 when an import program wasestablished, enabling the company to offer sharply competitive prices. TreasureCraft\'s products were then sourced either in Mexico or Asia.
